Thanks for your response. Many of Steiner’s views are controversial, but I must humbly admit that I don’t have enough experience or evidence to disprove them either. After reading his works, I do have conviction that his pedagogy is in alignment with how students were educated in ancient India 5000 years ago (which is when the country also produced some of the most fundamental inventions of natural sciences, astronomy, medicine etc.) Krishnamurti schools follow similar methods and principles too. So, if anybody wants an education that has a sound spiritual element to it, in addition to academic and extracurricular rigour, this is a great option. I would highly recommend reading “The Education of the Child” by Steiner, if you are interested in human development in general.

Racism is a product of society, and in Canada, where I live, racism wouldn’t fly in a school setting. I agree with you that things may be subtly different in other, less civil societies.
